Block Select is a feature that was added to PickCrafter in Version 3.8.3. It is used to exchange Picks for common blocks from biomes. The menu can be found in a pulldown tab at the top of the screen.
How It Works[]
The top of the menu has a gauge that shows how many blocks must be purchased to earn a Wooden Chest. Picks can be exchanged for 1, 5, or 25 of a particular common block from the current biome. After exchanging for 50 total blocks, there is a cooldown of 12 hours to exchange for more. This cooldown can be skipped with Picks or 25 
Runic. After exchanging for 100 total blocks, a Wooden Chest can be opened.
